Lewison is actually pretty decent, so it should be a good fight while it lasts.

This is a fun little British fight. Good stay busy for Whyte on the way to Chisora. I'm looking forward to this card

He has more experience but i dont see where it would save him if he fought Whyte , he also can switch to south paw ...i will have tpo disagree with you here ,and this is a fight they should make.
You can add old Michael Grant & Tony Thompson as wins for Takam. Both were better than old Botha. Grant actually had a great old man fight with Botha. That fight also had one of the best jobs done by a ref I had seen in a long time. I don't know why you rate Whyte so high but we will see how he does in the coming months. He has been all talk to this point. He should have little trouble with Lewison. Lewison keeps getting bigger every fight. He doesn't stay that active in the gym & it shows on the scales. When he beats a guy like Chisora I'm sure people will take him more seriously.

Grant never out boxed any meaningful fighter besides Golota but he also got k.od by McCline who is not as good as Golota...Botha at least was giving Tyson a boxing lesson before he got plastered with a right hand not that it means much at that time in 1999. TT was busted for peds and about 44 years old are these good fighters ? Takams win over Grant doesnt really have meaning to me other than THEN Takam was journey man level as hes always been and OLD Botha is the point ,Whytes loss to Joshua is more impressive by far bc Joshua is levels over Takam.

I rate Whyte on strength and overall attributes that Takam simply doesnt have . Youth and having MUCH less miles on his side is just another plus .

Michael Grant was a pretty solid prospect back in the day. He was brought along correctly. I'm not sure how old you are but Grant was beating all the usual journeymen. They stepped him up against Al Cole, Jorge Luis Gonzalez, David Izon, Obed Sullivan, Lou saverese & then he fought Golota. They moved him at the right pace. After the Golota win where he got off the canvas to win it showed he had heart. Did you watch the Jameel McCline fight? I don't think you did because he never got KO'd by McCline. He broke his ankle in the first round. Sure boxingrec says TKO1 but he was not knocked out. He suffered a serious injury like Solis did against Vitali. He was never the same after that. He fought 43 seconds in 2 years & he never had the drive after that. That 5 million he got for the Lewis fight & all the HBO big paydays he got before that fight zapped him of all motivation. He tried to come back a few times but it didn't work out. Botha was one of my favourites & had many good wars. I got lots of Botha & Grant fights. McCline was pretty good too. All B level guys... Whyte has done absolutely nothing but land 1 punch on Joshua...

LacedUp, what happened to him being a top 10 heavyweight and beating carlos takam easily?

I will be surprised if he win's a European belt tbh, he is terrible.
I have never said DW is a top 10 heavyweight or he would beat Takam easily.
