    Canelo will always outsell GGG.

A-side is Alvarez...plus he's younger with the better resume.
Good points. Game, set, match. Nuff said and end thread.

      Money doesnt equal legacy.

you're right but again if g string can't land a fight with Canelo, the only fight that would make him serious money and make his career legacy anything special would be the winner of Ward/Kov

Whats wrong with being felix sturm. If GGG was smart he would just go fight in germany , making sturm money .

The fact that you think that Alvarez-Golovkin is going to generate 2m PPV buys is a joke.

Cotto-Alvarez ended up doing 900k PPV buys, and Golovkin brings nothing to the table that would even suggest that he could help get to even that number (there's not some massive Kazakh fanbase to undergird the PPV, his live business isn't monster, and the TV audience has failed to continue to grow with him).

If K2 is thinking anything like you're suggestion, there's no need to even have negotiations because things won't lead anywhere

Simply going off of the eyeball test; Alvarez was walking around for press week, engaging with the fans, looked to be already on weight, and didn't look like utter **** (eyes weren't sunken, he didn't seem to be on edge about anything, etc).

We'll see what he looks like on the scales this afternoon, but my guess is that he'll likely look dry, but still ok.

If he was struggling last night/today, he could have problems.

... Canelo-Khan apparently did 600k PPV buys ... that's pretty respectable in my opinion
