How old will GGG be when canelo finally fights him

I think canelo is waiting for age to catch up to GGG before he fights him.

Next year it will be excuses

    1. GGG wants to much money

    Excuses excuses

I see right through the tactics being used.
Hardcore fans are being slit on again , the casual will still buy and watch a young canelo take on an older slower GGG .

Hell if Canelo chooses to not fight him then oh well...GGG will have to go elsewhere and fight better comp....He should look to fight the Ward-Kovalev winner

Saul Alvarez is making 154lbs and, with the final press obligations underway, Alvarez is looking like he's making the weight rather comfortably still, at al of 26 years old.

He likely keeps making the weight comfortably for another 12-18 months, before physically needing to move up.

Beyond that, Golovkin DOES want too much money; he's already preemptively called $3m a **** offer (after refusing to engage with a Ward fight or possible Lara fight over whispers about the fight costing too much to make).

          nice try though

Amir Khan picked up the UK TV rights to the fight, working with BoxNation to capitalize on those rights (which is where Khan basically got the lion's share of his money, as his share on the gate/PPV apparently wasn't anymore than $3m once everything was counted).

If Golovkin wants the type of money that Amir Khan, negotiate for the TV rights to all of Europe (Germany/UK/etc) and do what Khan did; sell the TV rights in those markets, and pocket your own money on that end.

The fact that you think that Khan got $15m on the front end (I doubt that Khan's full take even ended up being $15m anyway) is laughable.

Floyd fought Maidana twice; on both occasions, Maidana was able to negotiate for ~$1.5m-$2m on the front end while also getting the TV rights for South America (fairly certain that Floyd kept the Mexico TV rights for himself).

Maidana ended up taking home so much money that, after paying everyone their share, he was so happy to walk away from the sport that he put on what looks like 50lbs, just living life. My guess is that those South American TV rights were worth a good amount of money.

for a fight that will generate atleast 2 mil ppv buys 3 million is a joke for the champion, besides money was never the issue it could always be worked out but there wasnt any negotiation to begin with.

And jump up 2 weights without any preparations? The winner of Ward vs Kovlaev will probably be p4p#1. I would rather he tested the waters at 168 first. Sure the comp isnt that great either but if he struggles with the size difference at 168 theirs really not much point him trying 175
