Thurman isn't fighting again this year. I heard he was a bit ****** up after the Porter bout. Garcia's next fight is the stay busy type. Can't wait for this next year.

      What nonsense is this?

      GGG/Brook
      Fury/Wlad
      Thurman/Porter
      Kovalev/Ward
      Roman/Cuadras
      Me/Motorcity Cobras' mother

All FOTY candidate type fights that have happened, or will happen this year. Pay attention. Once a year my a$$.
Well he was exaggerating obviously, but his overall point is valid. I'm sure if we racked our brains we could come up with 100 or more compelling fights a year and we get like 10 a year. Hell we got one of the best fights in the sport coming up Saturday in Glowacki vs Usyk and I've seen maybe 4 or 5 threads that get like 15 replies in the last couple months. Its sad, but for this sport to grow we need GGG vs Canelo, Loma vs Walters, Danny vs Thurman, Pac vs Crawford and a **** ton of others but those fights we will almost never see. So yes we do get good fights every year but they are rarely "the" fights.

Damn, so hypothetically Thurman could be out of the ring for about 8-9 months going into a Garcia fight. Either way I favor Thurman.

And yeah, I would hope some more big fights get made next year.

              Bull****.

With Thurman, Brook, Khan, Porter, Pac, Spence, Bradley, Vargas in his weight class and he goes with Molina? LOL.

Finally nice began with Thurman Porter Haymon starting to match best against best and the winner of that fight against manny if he comes through would be great with spence waiting in the wings

But looks like he's matching own against his own like top rank. But Thurman Garcia how can you complain

Good 50-50 type of fight if it happens. I'm surprised that Haymon would be willing to risk one of his potential welterweight stars in a match-up like this. I always presumed that Thurman would move to 154 and Danny stays at 147.

Big ups to Thurman for suddenly raising his level of competition. He doesn't have enough good opponents on his resume for all the talking he does and status as 147 he carries, in my opinion. With a win over Garcia, he gets some kudos. I'm up for this fight
