But that doesn't change the fact that Kovalev is intimidating and looks like a fighter. GGG looks like a video game nerd and black Americans can't stand that he's a great fighter looking like that.

Kovalev, while still sporting a rather lacking resume, still has decent wins such as bhop, pascal x2, etc. plus he'll be testing himself against the the #1 p4p in november, whereas GGG's best win is a welterweight, that's why he is respected more on here.

It is also why Lil Gina gets these nicknames and is looked down upon by hardcore boxing fans and kovalev isn't. People who truly love the game just want to see Lil G tested, that's all.

When dude is walking through cats at 160, it's time to move up. Kovalev been doing the same, and if he wasn't facing the #1 P4P king Andre Ward, I would have been calling for him to move up to Cruiserweight to chase greatness, just like I call on Lil G to move up and become "Big G" at 168-175.

Completely true. Some fans get annoyed by the bandwagon fans (Pac**** and now lil g fans). Their behavior is what is frustrating. When Poochman was popular his fans always denigrated other boxers and their fans for really no reason. The lil g brigade are doing similar things with Canelo, Cotto, and Ward along with their fans.

I think Kovalev gets more respect from the hardcore fight fans because he fights anyone and doesn't duck anyone. He doesn't act like a diva or a self-entitled little b*tch. He just fights whoever is in front of him and has a exciting style and he generally doesn't give a ****. When he called Adonis Stevenson a chicken or basically a p*ssy to his face that also shows character in a fighter plus he's fighting Ward for the #1 pound for pound slot. Can't really hate on him when he's doing that.

when I was a kid my mom used to tell me....you can date them, you can even **** them, but don't you bring no white girl home to momma. needless to say, she grew up in the segregated south in Alabama. We're all just products of our environment, so I see why she felt that way. As me and my brother grew up and she saw how multi cultural our friends and girls we liked, she kinda softened up.

I was like 12-14 then.....she realized I didn't care about what race a woman was a long time ago...my first lil girl friend was a Chinese girl in grade school, my middleschool girl was Blasian, but when I met my son's mom I was turned out on that chocolate...I appreciate all women but there is nothing like a chocolate, almond, or caramel woman....skin feels like butter.
