I'm not and if there is su****ion cast on an individual with enough evidence then there should be proper investigations as to why multiple tues were provided over an extended period of time.

Athletes don't get sick all the time and if they are, then they wouldn't be functioning at such a high physical level.
You just outed yourself as a couch-riding slacker with a chip his puny shoulders.

      Sorry,jealous-hearted,Anti-American,****sucker.

Yes I did read the report. Serena had 3-4 different steroids prescribed to her since 2011. That's a lot of inflammatory issues on a continuous basis. That's su****ious. I assume you don't have a medical background, I do. If someone is having such persistent inflammatory issues then they must have a condition which would need to be treated regularly, meaning that if they were an athlete, it would become impossible to compete, especially at such a high level.

        That's where I derive my su****ions.

Moving onto TUEs, if you can find a single post where I said "only Americans that get TUE", I will actively message one of the mods to IP ban me from this site.

My stance on cheating, American or otherwise, pro or amateur, is always the same: Investigate, find out who is guilty, then ban. If there is systematic cheating, as seen in the NFL and baseball, especially with the balco labs in the late 90s and early 00s and then later with Lance Armstrong, those institutions involved should be closed down, their owners/CEOs severely fined and new, truly independent institutions set up in their place.

you mean federally sponsored doping, i assume?

          show me a link.
Look, if you don't know how balco, several other labs, problems with anti-doping agencies in the US and Lance Armstrong were based on a national level, then theres a lot you need to read up on and thats not my responsibility.

The leak shows they tested positive for banned substances. They were however, given exemptions because of TUEs, which never get abused...right?

balco was not a state entity. neither is USADA. usada is a non governmental "not for profit." balco was a private company that performed bloodwork and manufactured supplements, founded by victor conte.

you need to read up . i genuinely don't think you even know what "state" or "federally" sanctioned means at this point.

i asked you for information to support a claim that you made. the burden of proof is on the accuser. let's see what you have! so far you've posted jack sh#t

What kind of muscle building 'steroids' was she one for 5 days?

"A "steroid" is a chemical name for any substance that has a characteristic chemical structure consisting of multiple chemical rings of connected atoms.
Examples are Vit D, Cholesterol and Estrogen''

Steroids are used across the board in medicine to treat a huge range of conditions, and they dont not all build muscle like you're implying by randomly throwing the word ''steroids'' out. She was in fact using corticosteroids, which are NOT anabolic and mostly treat inflammatory issues.

Get real pal, you're completely talking out of your ass, its getting embarrassing

Once again, a certain group of posters have derailed what should have been an informative thread, discussing the validity of modern sports testing.

I'm going to get back on track. Another group of high profile athletes have been revealed as having taken banned substances. Two of the most well known, are Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome, both from Britain. Whereas Froome's may see more "innocent", 4 of the 7 TUEs (over a period of 5 years) for Wiggins were for a period of 12 months each.

A lot of the drugs that have been approved, are often used to increase airway space in the lungs (bronchodilation). It seems the world is filled with asthmatic athletes who all seem to be competing in events which require extraneous pressure on the lungs. To top it all off, these athletes sure do get ill a lot, in fact, they get ill enough to be prescribed steroids on what seems to be a pretty regular basis.

I'm a 26 year old non athlete and I get ill far less than any of these people. So, the supposedly extremely fit specimens of humanity aren't actually that fit.

Once again, something is not right here.

Oh and just to go back to what I was saying, if these athletes are so ill and are requiring the use of corticosteroids so often, especially inhaled ones, then they shouldn't be competing.

This point is further expressed by Professor John ****inson, of the University of Kent, a world-leading expert in respiratory issues, who says, "“If someone’s asthma is that bad they should not be competing.”

The issue isn't just TUEs but the large number of them handed out over a short period of time, all of which has allowed the use of corticosteroids, substances which can help enhance performance.
