A bunch of butt hurt in this thread, lol. Chocolatito won the fight and if you base a fight on how a fighter looks afterwards YDKSAB, period. Cuadras is sounding a little butt hurt as well.

lol, it seems like everyone that thinks Gonzalez won are the ones obsessed about his faced being marked up, why is that? Face aside, Gonzalez was outboxed. Cuadras had the FASTER hands, better feet, better defense, and landed the harder shots and I am not even talking about his face. Gonzalez looked like he was on his way out in the 11th-12th everytime cuadras touched the body. Good for Gonzalez for making it to the 12th but it was telling that the better shots were landed by Cuadras. Gonzalez was arm punching in the championship rds. Cuadras only downside was not sticking to the body but it probably because the head was so easy to find.

Yeah he lost his title in a fight a lot of people felt he shouldve won. Cuadras landed the harder shot period and face aside it was telling because Gonzalez was arm punching in the championship rds and looked to be on his way out with another good body punch from the 10th-12th.

Gon.za.lez. won. Fair and square. Great fight, but I'm surprised to see so many people making it controversial. You don't score a fight with pictures of faces. If you win eight rounds and get two swollen eyes, you still win eight rounds. Nobody comes in and goes ah, swollen eye, deduct a point, another swollen eye, deduct another point.

Chocolatito started losing steam around round 8 on, I notice Cuadras threw a lot of shoe shine inside punches that look good but didn't even land. Cuadras energy impressed me considering the pace of the fight and the fact that he kept it up for 12 rounds. This is the last stop for Chocolatito, I doubt he moves up any higher and if he sticks around too long he will lose at this weight.
Inoue will walk him down unless he lands something meaningful early to discourage him.

I cannot believe how many salty fans are saying Roman lost particularly because he got busted up and looked worse off than his opponent. Does anybody remember Jones vs Tarver 1? Jones outboxed him and gutted out a tough victory but looked battered while Tarver looked fine. Gonzalez is a little guy who moved up in weight and fought an awesome fighter. He never stopped moving forward and handily won the first half of the fight. Cuadras got the better of him in the second half so it was close but this wasn't a robbery. I cannot recall a fighter getting bashed so much after such a gutsy performance. Smh.

Just take a look at whos saying that. Theyre all mexicans. Roman Gonzalez just beat hes 18th mexican so its understandable. Chocolatito clearly won that fight.
