Exactly. Canelo would be a stationary target for Golovkin for as long as it lasts.
Plus the wide frame of Canelo means less chances of GGG missing. Every punch would be felt by Canelo and it would be over within 8.

Expect the best canelo ever when it happens

Yeah, I can see Jacobs hurting him early and GGG not being able to recover but like you I dont see him putting on a clinic. Hell I would go against the majority of people on here and say Jacobs hits harder but GGG is the better boxer. Jacobs has a better 1 punch KO due to his speed but GGG has the better feet.

Where is the option of None ?
IMO the only thing that beats him is his age.

Like Canelo didn't have $10 tickets in San Antonio and Houston...

no I mean for Golovkin the starting price of tickets from the front row was $5, and up to .25 cents from far view

Most competitive? I think Canelo. And it'd be the biggest too. I got that as a 55/45, 60/40 Canelo to win fight. I think BJS is more competitive than most think too & I'd probably consider that a 50/50ish fight although I'm sure I'm in the minority with that opinion so I'll favor my Canelo opinion as more competitive even if it isn't reallllly. Jacobs is probably a 75/25 GGG to win fight for me.

I'm not so sure what to make of the 154lb guys at 160lbs. I mean I'm not even sure what they are really capable of vs the best guys at 154 yet let alone at 160. I tend to think Andrade & Lara would be GGG's biggest threats doe. And I'm not super confident about either. I dig both of those guys, but Andrade is a dumbass & he's not really shown what he's capable of vs a tip top caliber guy & Lara is more proven, but he fights like his relatives are judging the fight or he's not sure how to go about winning rounds. And the other guys are much more unknown or unproven so I'd probably put GGG vs the 154 field as a 60/40 favorite til I know more about those guys in general &/or at 160.

And for bigger guys I think Ramirez is the most competitive cuz I think he's got some Cuban school of boxing style with some decent offensive that would be effective vs GGG for some period of time. Whether thats for 7 rounds or the full 12 I'm not sure. So I think I'd probably consider this fight a 65/35 GGG to win leaning fights. And Ward if he were to come back down to 168 or some 164, 165 catchweight to fight GGG I think I'd favor Ward at 80/20 to win.

Eubank Jr would be the toughest fight, HUGE middleweight, great engine, high work rate, savage uppercuts which Golovkin is vulnerable to and iron chin.

When it comes to boxing on the backfoot/lateral and trying to outbox I don't think Jr is that good but that's ok against Golovkin because he would need to be in his face all night. Golovkin is too good at cutting off the ring so that tactic wouldn't work and he can't do it well anyway.

Is he a level above the other guys on the poll? no not at all but i'm talking purely from a stylistic point of view vs Golovkin.

Another thing is I think he would hit Golovkin to the body often which would come in handy.

Whether he wins depends on how much Golovkin has left and how seriously he takes the fight, against Ouma and Murray he was relentless and didn't tire but with each fight at his he might slow down a tad and if he underestimated him even a little in camp I think he would lose. I don't think he was at his best in the Wade or Brook fights.

Win or lose it would be his toughest fight, a classic war that would be remembered for a long time.

Degale is too inconsistent to beat Golovkin imo. Looks great in flashes but often drifts in and out of fights, taking bombs on the ropes under pressure which is obviously a nightmare vs Golovkin. Also he swells and cuts really easily but he has a solid chin to be fair.

The main reason people would vote Degale is him being at 168.

Canelo and Andrade have the talent to do it but they don't believe in themselves right now.

Voted Saunders because I never seen DeGale until after even then its probably still Saunders if DeGales last fight is anything to go by.
