Kovalev is fighting Ward on PPV in Vegas (where GGG has never fought). The first 36 hours of their tickets being on sale has sold more than GGG's highest gate. And people are doubting he'd be a bigger star if he fought Ward? No wonder some of these people failed at promoting.

If you read my initial post in the thread, I posted the number waqs ok given college football. So its not that I disagree with your view about the rating.

I disgaree. Defeating a fighter as respected as Ward would help increase GGG's star power. It wouldn't be like defeating ODH or Floyd, but it would definitely raise it some.

You're wasting you time. Like I stated earlier Ward-Kovalev sold more in 36 hours than GGG's highest gate. The fight is in Vegas. K2 would never attempt to put GGG in Vegas without Canelo. It's not sent to die. You don't expect large ratings on Friday nights. That's why you see the lesser known fighters on Friday night Showbox and Boxing After Dark. Saturday afternoon is prime ratings for sports. College football, baseball, nascar, etc.

I didn't add the numbers directly I adjusted my projection for 1st time and retuning viewers that evening. Unless you think 700K + 850K (1.55 Million) equals 1.4 Million you would have noticed that.
