Damn this is embarrassing for a supposed p4p king. Dude is 34! When is Lil Gina gonna face real threats? He's declining already!
And these were just off the top of my head. Feel free to add to the list!
Doesn't mean anything because everyone starts off their career at a different age, under different circumstances, and fighters with more hype coming in get better fights early, etc.Comment

I don't think any of the guys on his list turned pro before Golovkin, and none of them had the hype of winning a medal against teenagers to fall back on.Comment

hummm I'll add joshua to the list for having a comparable resume to ggg @ the age of 26.I dont agree with all those names but Khan, Canelo and Gonzalez are a good shout.
Fact is, people aren't putting any context into GGGs resume and this is probably the last time I'll post about this lol
GGGs resume is filled with the best names in his division. It just so happens that his division does not contain any great fighters or anyone considered right at the top of the pile, regardless of weight, i.e. p4p.
When he tried to fight Cotto and Canelo, they both avoided him blatantly. Sadly the Martinez fight could never happen because of age, timing and injury. The only other standout middleweight name in the time GGG has been champ is Sturm who flat out refused. What more could GGG do?
There is the argument that GGG could have moved up to super middleweight but I don't understand why that is a necessity, considering GGG is THE dominant force in his division and close to holding all the belts and becoming the only undisputed champion in the sport today.
If we have to start comparing to other greats who dominated their respective divisions, can you tell me a single great middleweight that Hagler fought? Not a fighter who moved up to 160 but someone who campaigned there for the majority of their career? The same goes for Hopkins. Thing is, both men would be considered atgs in their divisions AND were considered top p4p at the time.
Argument over. /threadComment

I don't think any of those guys were from bumfcuk Kazakhstan, deemed unpromotable by US promoters, stuck with a dying German promoter intent on protecting more valuable property like Sturm. Some.perspective?Comment
