Pretty much. From the norm, you can guess an amount of unique viewers which will be closer to the real number but unless HBO releases the unique numbers, no one will know. This thread is likely overstating numbers, and the other thread understating by a huge margin. My guess would be around 1.3-1.4m unique viewers in HBO but again, no one knows how many people watched it again.

Those are facts. Even the demographic and usual haters will make you believe differently.
his numbers are lower than the murray fight...
isnt he supossed to be becoming a bigger draw and increasing his fanbase??? didnt he became a lot more popular when he got that vacated belt from canelo?? all this time and money invested by hbo and instead of getting better numbers does less...

Whatever the numbers are those 2 bums from Brooklyn couldn't even sell out the stadium in their backyard for a world title fight. LMFAO GGG break that china chin Jacobs.

NOTE: Jacobs is a likeable guy though.

How many of those viewers in the evening were repeat viewers? For example: 400k of those evening viewers watched the fight for the second time...

so you really can't count those.

and fury-wlad did over 1 mil in that same time slot.

Regardless I enjoyed the fight. Both men done themselves proud and put on a good drama show.

Also these figures are just for the US. My understanding is the fight done good in the UK. Would be interesting to see how it performed around the world.

Then you cut the 400k out. So what number do you come to? Still not half bad. Fury vs Wlad was a much better fight than this one. Are you really surprised that fight got 200k more viewers? Grasping at the straws there

Is that how you count viewers? Legit question.

I've never seen numbers added up for some "total viewers" number like that for a same day telecast or otherwise, but if thats how you count em I guess thats how you count em. But if this is the case I'd guessimate the Rumble In The Jungle gots like 5B or so views lifetime.

that's just guessing the number... could be more could be less that's why it isn't supposed to be used.

That doesn't display PPV buys though does it?

                      Any words on that yet?
