Anyway as for the question -- I'm a Golovkin fan to an extent, but at the end of the day I'm first and foremost a boxing fan. It's not like I'd lose sleep if Gennady lost. So yeah, I wanna see him in the best fights possible. And yeah it's disappointing that the dude has feasted on virtually nothing but B & even C grade fighters. Brook is an A fighter but obviously him having to come up 2 divisions stains the W.

Brook is a B+ fighter at best until proven otherwise. What has he accomplished for him to be in the upper echelon of fighters? You do know what an A level fighter is right? Pacquiao, Mayweather, Ward, Klitschko, Cotto, Marquez... These are proven A level fighters with a proven record. Having 1 decent win over Shawn Porter DOES NOT make you A level.

If a boxer can make weight without any issues and always on weight, I don't have any problem with him staying at that weight.

As long as he starts to create a weight division for himself is where I start to dislike a boxer. Canelloni style.

@ 160lbs he can still fight good fighters - Jacobs, Andy Lee, Quillin & Billy Joe, and if Canelloni grows a pair and fights him, he will be a good fight for him as well.

Where do you put khan at his peak was he A level. People say khan has better resume than brook, therefore greater. But brook would beat khan.
Same for hagler. Hagler has better resume the GGG, but GGG beats hagkler

I do think at his peak, yes, Khan was an A level talent. Nowadays though it appears those days are behind him. He's still a blue chip talent in areas-- the hand speed is still mesmerizing, but his leaky defense and chin are just too lacking.

Personally I see him as a B guy. Can still dominate C guys, and win his fair share against B level dudes, but falls short against any of the true A tier fighters.
