Question. Who would've finished Brook faster??

All this irrational hate for Golovkin right now. It's also all coming from the same places which is Floyd and his sycophants. If Golovkin is so terrible, then who would've taken Brook out faster? Floyd Mayweather maybe?

Hahahahaha no but seriously..I don't think Canelo would beat Kell down in 5. Errol definitely not. Maidaina would be interesting but I see Kell winning that one. Jacob's perhaps? I doubt it. Anyone who gets floored by Mora probably would pose a huge plus for Brook at 160. So who? What do y'all think?

I'm not sure, because in boxing all it takes is one punch. But Golovkin did a terrible job trying to finish Kell off when he was hurt. He abandoned the body, abandoned the game plan, and was swinging like he had one too many beers and got into a bar fight. There was nothing methodical about it.

I guess in the end, he got the job done so it doesn't really matter but he could've possibly got a first round stoppage if he had fought a little smarter. Imo.

I would think a fully fledged powerful middleweight like Jacobs would get Kell out of there too. Probably not earlier though.

But it was a silly fight anyway. Hopefully it is then end of fighters jumping up 2 weight classes for the money. You can't blame them but the money shouldn't be there when one guy is at such a stark disadvantage against a phenomenal middleweight. I don't think Eddie Hearn can feel great about the fight either regardless of what he says now that Kell has gotten a serious injury. It would have been better for Kell if he got laid out in 1 round.

I like Brook & consider him to be one the best WWs now.. People who cannot KO Brook: Spence or any other WW

People can KO Brook at JrMW around 8-10 rounds(including Canelo)

People can KO Brook at MW in around 6-8 rounds..

Let's face it, Brook came up with a bad game plan to trade with GGG.. If he had boxed and moved all night, the fight may have lasted longer & I had predicted Brook would get KO'ed but around the 8th round mark with his box & move strategy..

Irrational hate? It was a bummy fight in Middleweight terms. You can't give GGG any credit for this fight, he beat up on a smaller man (13 pounds).

Canelo couldn't stop Cotto which he should have. I highly doubt he stops Brook.

Brook was stopped just like all the other GGG's opponents, only Ingle threw in the towel rather than see his man touch the canvas. It was basically over....Brook had nothing left.

Also a knock down which was ruled a slip was indeed a knock down

Canelo has a different kind of power, he times his shots. He'll knock Brook out, but he'll do it in more impressive fashion. He's not going to rush his work, he'll break the body down just like GGG did, and then time Brook the same way he timed Khan with that right hand

GGG is good at cutting the ring off, but his problem has always been he is easy to hit, but because his chin is iron, punches just bounce off his head and he continues to walk you down, which is what he did with Brook.

Canelo works his way in, different kind of skillset.

dude, u make it seem like golovkin is above criticism. it was a **** fight to begin with. & any sort of criticism gets grouped in as "mayweather die hards attacking my great one golovkin"

golovkin isn't above criticism. and with the way the fight went obviously he will get plenty of it.

put brook in with spence........spence goes to that body way better then golovkin & is more patient, better defensibly minded. at 154 many opponents stop brook including canelo. i don't see him making it out of 6 rounds with canelo.

i actually think brook vs canelo is next so we'll see it.

Yea. Irrational hate. I'm not saying anybody has to applaud this fight as anything great but all this talk about Golovkin being a bum/no skills/exposed is ridiculous. I'm not one of those who spouts off Kell being a worthy 160lber because he was 176 30days prior to weigh in but to say Kell was coming in as a welterweight is crazy. He was filled out at his walking around weight coming in as a average sized middleweight. Sergio Martinez and Hopkins came in at 160 at smaller weights. On another note I predicted a while back that Kell may have serious trouble making 147 and when this fight got signed, I saw him now heading to 154. Golovkin did throw some wide misses but got the job done in great time. Kell Brook literally wouldve been severely hurt or ktfo. He was finished on the ropes just letting Golovkin wail on him and not returning any fire.
