For me This is the thing, GGG is a polarizing figure and he's getting a lot of hate and love now which to me is good for the sport no matter where you stand he makes you have a opinion

People that like him because of his style, Race , ******ed superfans or whatever will make excuses like most do for fighters they like for his comp level and anything he does

People that don't like him for his competition level, race or nationality mostly want to see him challenged to see if he's the real deal and probably catch a L so they can say he wasn't sh.it to begin with.

I'm a Gennady fan, I feel he needs to take on some challenges though but he's the real deal. The guy lives like a fighter he stays in shape year round doesn't get caught up in the hype,he wasn't given sh.it in his career started off in boxing purgatory from a country no one gives a sh.it about and was only known for Borat and maneuvered his way to becoming a marketable name. He gets props for that. yeah people loved Tyson but he was also extremly hated during his time if he looked and acted like Gennady he would have been 2x as popular and made 4x the $ he did
