Saunders turned down Daniel Jacobs This Year

saunders wont be ready for december, the guy fights on oct 29th, ggg's next fight is in december, they should not waste time on saunders and start negotiating with jacobs and dont wait until the last minute and claim they didnt have time to get a fighter to the desired date, dont want to end up going for another welter...

saunders doesnt even have an opponent for that october date. and when he does find one, it will just be some non-descript fighter. it's better for everyone if he just cancels that fight and meets golovkin in december

BJS didn't return phone calls, didn't answer emails, just stopped communication all together.

How the hell do you negotiation when the other party stops picking up the phone?

Saunders is making it clear he doesn't want Danny, Danny needs to move on and stop being so desperate, there's lots of other MW's.

Andy Lee only lost to Saunders by MD and is known in the US, hell he just fought Quillin to a draw. Then there was Lemieux, Korobov, N'Dam, Eubank, and even Lara. Danny had plenty of guys to pick from that weren't Mora.

I find it annoying when GGG fans give him credit for guys ducking him as if it's a win. As if he's already beaten Canelo because of Canelo's lack of balls or already beaten Jacobs just because he turned down $3M to face him. These guys would've earned more vs GGG than Smith/Mora, and gotten more credit, but until the fights happen you never know.

But now Jacobs fans want to give him credit for BJS turning him down, "oh Jacobs would beat him in 3 rounds anyway". BJS has Canelo and GGG as possibilities for him and those fights would earn him a lot more money and advance his career further than Jacobs. Plus he already turned down Rosado so not like he only rejects the most dangerous guys.

I like Jacobs, good fighter, fast hands, power, has had serious health problems but doesn't try and get sympathy just acts like a man about it, but him vs BJS just seems the least likely fight to get made. I have wanted to see Jacobs-Eubank for a while now, it's a shame Eubank didn't want that fight. DiBella was talking about Jacobs-Lee for later this year, that wouldn't be a bad option.
