Did Brook's team endanger his health?

    A little throwback:

And promoter Eddie Hearn said: “Khan’s team put him in a dangerous position that could have affected his health."

    After last night:

Rather a broken orbital and still having all your senses than being removed from your conscious for minutes.

        You have lost ya marbles

Brooks won't be in the ring for another 9 months, he may never heal properly, that injury might occur again

possible nerve damage, damage to his facial symmetry

brook said he could see 4 GGG's in there

khan took one shot and went to sleep, and woke up and was ok

brook will have to have 2 operations

Listen, Brook's broken bone for 1 wasn't that bad. He was OK. 2, being knocked clean out can have severe mental and physical damage to your brain and health.

If you think losing your conscious and preventing oxygen from reaching your brain properly is better than getting a broken bone, you just simply don't know what you're talking about. The cell death occurring when getting knocked out is not a joke. It is not only potentially career ending, but life threatening in many ways.

To Khan's credit, he's taking it well. He's mentally strong enough to overcome KOs which in some ways is a good thing I suppose. Some fighters are never the same after getting cleaned out like that.

If Brook's face was his defense like a margarito, then his career could have been in trouble. This is obviously one of the reasons he was pulled out and his injury wasn't bad enough to reach that stage.

But rightfully, they didn't take that risk.

Khan is. Brook is at the top of his career. His stock has never been higher.

At the end of the day Brook wanted Golovkin. And he got him.

That's the nature of the beast.
