in my opinion, a true boxing fan can like and appreciate all fighters, not idolize some while trashing others. they love the sport as a whole, not divided into parts, based on style or race. in boxing, there's more than one way to reach the top. you have pure boxers, counterpunchers, & sluggers, in varying degrees. if someone is exceptional in either style, they can get to the top, doing it their own way. in the 40's and 50's, many people said Rocky Marciano was crude, slow, easy to hit, a bum, etc. he wasn't stylish or slick like Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles, or Jersey Joe Walcott, but he was exceptional in many areas, like stamina, chin, work ethic, and punching power. he always got the job done, with the talents he had. he did it his way. GGG has similar talents as Marciano had -stamina, chin, work ethic, and punching power. like Marciano, he's not the fastest or most stylish. he looks crude at times, and easy to hit. but he makes up for that, and gets the job done, doing it his own way. I loved Floyd for doing it his way, and I love GGG for the way he's doing it now. all fighters have to work much harder than the people who sit around and bash them online. they all deserve to be appreciated, no matter what their style is
