Jacobs would definitely be an awesome test for GGG. It would definitely be an awesome fight. I like Jacobs. I think the main reason that other poll thread is so lopsided is because he's been playing the waiting game which can be mistaken for weakness at times. Plus a lot of hardcore fans still have that vicious Pirog KO loss in their mind.

He can crack for sure so he could definitely hurt Triple G. Who knows, it could be like Garcia-Mattysse all over again where Jacobs could surprise a lot of people by knocking off a "boogeyman".

Yeah I've noticed the parallels too! It's normally the HBO brawlers who are exciting that get this boogeyman status.

But let's not get too crazy. He wasn't even knocked down. Anybody can hurt anybody in boxing. Paulie hurt Juan Diaz who had a solid chin, Vargas hurt Bradley who's known for a solid chin and he's not a big puncher, and Canelo was rocked by Cotto's journeyman relative. Ishida knocked down James Kirkland 3 times to a TKO and he's not a big puncher. Yet Kirkland withstood bombs from Angulo who is a more known puncher. Even Bernard Hopkins was dropped by Mercado who nobody really knows.

You get my point. It's boxing. **** happens.
