Has lil G faced anyone as strong as Jacobs?

I'm just wondering because a lot of cats on here act like this fight is a foregone conclusion, as far as I can remember I don't think Lil' G has faced anyone as strong as Jacobs, apart from maybe Lemieux?

P.s Why is everyone writing Jacobs off so soon? I think he's looked great lately and is coming into his crime.

Lemieux is perhaps stronger but doesn't have anywhere near the accuracy of Jacobs so he doesn't apply it as well.

Curtis Stevens is also probably a stronger puncher than Jacobs, but like Lemiux, he's not nearly as skilled.

The point of this thread is correct though, while I think GGG is a strong favorite, Jacobs would be a live dog in this fight.

Jacobs doesn't strike me as a very mentally strong dude. He seems fragile.

          He's a strong puncher though.

He might not have to be, if he gets there first.

A mentally strong guy wouldn't stay in the amateurs too long and fight WW's.

Jacobs would definitely be an awesome test for GGG. It would definitely be an awesome fight. I like Jacobs. I think the main reason that other poll thread is so lopsided is because he's been playing the waiting game which can be mistaken for weakness at times. Plus a lot of hardcore fans still have that vicious Pirog KO loss in their mind.

He can crack for sure so he could definitely hurt Triple G. Who knows, it could be like Garcia-Mattysse all over again where Jacobs could surprise a lot of people by knocking off a "boogeyman".
