Comments Thread For: Hearn: Brook Deserves Respect, Gave Golovkin a Hell of a Fight!

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is very proud of his fighter, IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-1, 25KOs), who gave it his all on Saturday night, when he suffered the first defeat of his career.

When Triple G decided to run him over it happened. No different than when Bhop decided run over ODLH

I guess Hearn is doing his best to continue to promote Kell to the public

To me, yes he lasted about 10 rounds, but didn't seem as effective as Brook was.

Sure Brook gets credit. But he got a street fight not a technical GGG. To be honest, Brook just got broken down and if the towel wouldn't have been thrown he would've gotten knocked out on his feet within 10 seconds. His face got bashed in. So, let's go easy on the "give credit" solicitations. GGG showed no regard for his power or ability and swung for the fences. Dude has a broken eye socket. Career will never be the same with that injury. Ask Angulo or Margarito. Finished. What credit does Brook get. And he still couldn't admit his face got bashed in saying, " oh I broke my eye socket in the second round" nah, your eye socket got broken in a scrap. He broke your face. And everyone said 5 rds or less. That's exactly what happened.

You box? Spar? Do anything? Dude deserves plenty of credit...he showed that skill can indeed beat power when used right. Too bad a prime Floyd wasn't just a little bigger or that a prime RJJ wasn't at the division to give that clown a boxing lesson he would never forget.
