That left hook in the first kd was a thing of beauty. It reminds me of the one Tito cought Vargas with in the 12th.

Originally posted by ferocitydelahoya can still let his hands go and put nice combo together like few in the sport today, but he doesn't seem to have the same bounce in his legs, and at times he was hesitant to throw where as before he'd throw at least jabs, he fought mayorga very similar in the way he fought mosley in their first fight, i would have like to see if delahoya still had his legs but he didn't use them
mayweather more likely will be on his bicycle and out box delahoya, margarito would be too much of a war for delahoya to go through at this stage in his career
I wonder if it's ring rust, or he's working on a more paced style. He is usually very tired in the later rounds, so a more flat-footed style would definitely suit him.
Plus the top 147 fighters, except for margarito, are all smaller than he is, so he can afford to be more stationary if he plans fights at 147.
I was really impressed by his coolness under fire, maybe 20 months of doing business with "sharks" are a better training for that, than fighting.

I hope Mayorga can look at himself in the mirror for selling out...but I guess when your back's against the wall you do what you gotta do to survive...

No, he got beat up he didn't sell out how can you say it is suspect with those punches, this isn't the hopkins DLH fight here.

Originally posted by nezahualcoyotlI watched the fight sober (as opposed to my other friends) and it seemed a little too suspect. Plus I heard the 2 mill he got from DLH was the most ever in his career! Plus I saw PBF at the fight and that sealed it for me...I knew he was going to throw the fight. And sure enough when he refused to post-fight interview & post-fight press conference I knew in his heart he even knew he sold out and couldn't even face himself & his fans. But like I said when your backs against the wall you do what you gotta do...I would've done the same thing.
i disaggre no way did he sell out, nicarguencens are proud people too, and i doubt mayorga is the type of fighter to do that plus, delahoya before the fight already had too much for mayorga, what mayorga felt after the lose was pitty for himself for going out the way he did after talking so much about how delahoya wouldn't fight him, start up, and then to only lose at your own game, i'd **** with my head too as it did with mayorga
