It would be a massive shock to GGGs system when the Cobra would tear into him no doubt.

But everyone here wouldn't give him credit anyway. Just like with Bute.

Compare GGG against Lemieux to last night and you had a GGG who respected the power in front of him, he stuck to a game plan, last night he felt Brook's shots and had zero regard for them, he loaded up on everything from round one and walked through everything Kell hit him with. The punches didn't deter him one iota, whereas Brook's corner were flapping because every shot had zero effect on GGG.

You're so biased you can't see what was in front of you. It was competitive for the latter 90 seconds of the second round, that's it.
        This!

In the post fight interview Golovkin said he lost all rounds and rated himself 4/10. He's being honest. Then he says 'I Didn't feel his punches so I went after him like street fight'. pretty simple and obvious explanation. The man fought 350 amateur fights. I'm willing to believe that he can fight smart when he needs to.

        Sad haters gonna hate!

Amateurs got nothing to do with the professional game.

Golovkin simply isn't that effective as a professional.

And no, he didn't get hit for making it a streetfight, lol. He got badly hurt in the first round by an uppercut.

Froch got out-boxed by Groves. He ain't beating Golovkin.. Same Groves that failed to impress against a faded Murray! Smaller fighters are more elusive & naturally quicker yet GGG cut the ring off & timed him! Froch would be a sitting duck.. GGG by SD in England. GGG UD in US.

"It's a fascinating fight...[Kell Brook] has got that speed, he's very, very talented, I can tell you that firsthand. I've sparred with him before the Andre Dirrell fight...and I couldn't quite get there and I had to use my weight advantage to lean on him and push him back and bully him - just to get some sort of work off. His counter right hand, his fast jab, his sly head movement - he's not got the typical Ingle style, the Johnny Nelson and Naseem Hamed style. He's not got that elusive, sort of ****y, arrgogant style if you like...But he's got the basic fundamental skills of the Ingle camp. But that with a polished defense.

"He's got great defense, great timing, and great speed - but this is all at welterweight. He's now a middleweight so we don't know what he's gonna bring as a middleweight. He's still gonna have the speed, hopefully. He's going to be able to punch harder, probably...but how will he cope with somebody like Gennady Golovkin? It's a tough, tough task - let's be terribly honest. But Kell Brook has definitely got the talent, he's got the movement, he's got the speed...I think he needs to use his jab, use his range, use his counter right hand, use his movement a lot early on.

"There's gonna be times where they have to stand and fight, and when he does that we're gonna find out what happens and how he copes with taking the shots of Gennady Golovkin. And it's not just the head shots that any boxer has to worry about, it's also the body shots - and when you get hit to the body by people who are stronger than you, and later on down the stretch when those shots are still soaking in and have drained your tank empty, that's when it can be the writing on the wall for you...

"Kell Brook has really got a massive, massive chance to shock the world. Will he do it? Nobody knows..."

Dude, are you that blinded by your fanboyism? Just watch round 1, when Golovkin got jelly legs, and if you're too ******ed to see it, then show me how to make a gif out of it.

Froch would have destroyed Golovkin and Froch believes so himself, which is why he said he was too big and strong for Golovkin. But Froch is so old now that Golovkin would be a dangerous fight, so yeah, he didn't need to take it. But I wish he did.
