Golovkin simply isn't that effective as a professional.

And no, he didn't get hit for making it a streetfight, lol. He got badly hurt in the first round by an uppercut.

The premise of this thread is ridiculous. The statement that "Golovkin got no skills" aside from the bad grammar, is laughable. 36 wins, 33 KOs. Highest knock out percentage in the history of the MW division. No skills? Please give us all a break.

Seriously, Kell Brook made Golovkin's legs wobble in the first round. Golovkin has no defense and he was clueless everytime Brook went wild on him. When Brook was constantly moving around, Golovkin also had massive problems hitting him and it was so easy to dodge that Brook even taunted Golovkin while dodging his punches. In the end, Golovkin won and it was inevitable. But he got no skills. He can cut off the ring and that's the only thing he got. His punches are too wild and he got no defense and no ability to adjust. Mayweather should come back for an easy win number 50 against Golovkin.

I know that people are now making excuses about Golovkin being sick or weight-drained or intimidated by the crowd or just growing old over night, but we saw what we saw. A limited boxer beating a good boxer only due to his massive power advantage.

This is definitely Golovkin's best win, but also the definitive proof that the hype has gone too far. Froch would have murdered him and against Ward, he would look like an absolute joke, hitting air all night.

That's a pretty bold high and mighty claim criticizing Golovkin considering your a Floyd Mayweather fan. I mean, this is a guy that got totally manhandled by Marcos Maidana of all people, with absolutely nothing to threaten the light welterweight Argentine.
Not to mention he got his @ss handed to him by Castillo. Nobody out there disputes Floyd lost to all time Castillo.

I like how people claim GGG gets hit on purpose. He gets hit because he has no defence, no head movement, but it doesn't matter because he has a granite chin and massive power. He didn't let Brook nearly uppercut his head off, he's wide open to it in every fight.

Froch would have beaten him, more than likely stopped him and he'll be lucky to win a round if he fights Ward. Ward will make him miss all night.

Why is everyone claiming Golovkin is defenseless? That is the ******est thing I'm hearing on here post Brook. If Golovkin is in there with someone that can't hurt him then why would he fight defensively forfeiting prime real estate to land shots. Its like Pacquiao. When Pacquiao was in there fighting at the lower weights he had optimum leverage in regards to durability and chin. He could walk in and just eat shots if he had to. No skills? Golovkin brought it to Brook and smashed his eye socket loose, and that requires skills such as accuracy. I don't know which fight you were watching but it was Brook who got wobbled after that massive bodyshot in the first round.

now we will have to see GGG vs Jacobs im sure he will fight differently than he did vs kell but that fight will tell us a lot about him. Im A GGG fan, if he beats Jacobs with ease like everyone says he will, then ill be completely sold. him and ward will never fight but I think its time the fanatics agree that would not go well for GGG. but in his weight class, hes the best for now. we shall see. im sure it will be saunders next tho...

GGG is unable to hit Brook and looks wild and confused...... Lands at a 44% connect rate in the fight. Was over 40% in all but one round.

Has zero defense and Brook lights him up....... Brook lands at 33%. Brook was under 30% in 3 of the 5 rounds.

People are also going overboard on the criticism of GGG in this fight.
