I had the Sky commentary on and until the stopage they didnt call a single one of Golovkins powershots connecting after the first round. Hell i gave Brook 3 rounds at first as well. Then I watched it without the commentary and Brook was getting the snot beaten out of him in 3 and 4. So I think the commentary made a huge difference in perception.

Well, Golovkin was bleeding and his face was not exactly that of a man who was hit lightly. Still favoring him over Canelo, but what happens if Canelo hits GGG with the same punch that flattened Amir Khan?

Brook did land his own shots in the 3rd and 4th rounds though. Don;t forget this is GGG. If Brook really got such a one sided beating in 3rd and 4th rounds, why wasn't he on the canvas? Brook got hurt against Carson Daley 2 weights down.

In the final round when fight was stopped. Brook didn't seem that hurt by GGG's punches. Even as the referee jumped in, he was standing his arms outstetched to his side. Saying "is that all you got?"

GGG clearly would have won but I think most people were surprised that Brook could push GGG back a couple of times and he didn't even end up on the canvas. Was really the broken eye socket that ended the fight.

Don't forget GGG didn't fear Brook much. He can walk through punches at his own weight, he wasn't much worried about what Brook had to offer. Every fight is different. Mayweather almost got dropped by an old Mosley and got hit hard by an old Judah. Didn't mean he would get dropped by someone better. You can't use that logic

canelo doesn't have power. khan and Kirkland have the worst chins in boxing. those were cherry picks to make canelo look exciting and devastating. look what happens when he fights little small guys like lara, Floyd, or even an average fighter like trout.

You don't have to go down from the punishment but watch the rounds with sound and then without sound and count the punches that actually connect (Not gloves or shoulder or arms) and you will see that you will score the fight differently. Again the eye was the cause of the stoppage....how did Brook's eye get busted. So Golovkin doesnt get credit for that punch (which landed in the 3rd not 2nd round)??

So because I don't agree with you i'm "YOU CLOWNS" dude get your hating @ss up out of here if you hate the guy so much. You speak as someone who clearly has an agenda against the guy, if the Stevens and Lemieux fights didn't show how much more calculated he is when he's not throwing caution to the wind you clearly haven't studied the fighter but don't let the different fighting styles and facts get in the way of your irrationality. Yes the guy gets hit, he's said he like being hit out of his own mouth. The guy with the "Even the faintest of defense" got his face broken so there is that and there goes your "he can't handle defensive fighters" theory.
