His body was taking too much damage for his success. GGG was beating him down like Darth Vader beat down Luke in Empire Strikes Back. Bottom line, the challenger wasn't ready to defeat the master on that day.
If Kell Brooks orbital bone never got broke, would have he had continued success?

No Brook couldn't handle the heat he just had a good round and made Gennady loom human , I don't know how people can give the man props for that performance. Brook and his team didn't go out like soldiers
Would rather quit then go out on the sheild in his biggest fightComment

I had Brook winning the first 3 rounds and it was pretty clear that his eye was bothering him a lot from the 3rd round on, but while he was winning the rounds by being active and rocking GGG's head back with uppercuts and combinations, he was getting hit with monster shots by GGG to the body and to the head, don't forget that this was Brook's first fight at 160 so he wasn't used to that power, so it was only a matter of time before all these shots + extra weight took their toll on him. I think he could've made it to the 8th or 9th round if it wasn't for the injury.Comment

So he should just go blind or permanently get his eye injured like Margarito and destroy his own career because of a boxing match, that makes sense.Comment

Besides, he wanted to continue.Comment

brook will go back down where he belongs and test every ww there is.Comment

Honestly he probably ruined his career anyways because I doubt he goes back down to WW and I don't see him doing any damage at 154 or 160
I don't believe he wanted to continue, when the towel was thrown he accepted it because he didn't want it no more
You can believe his post fight to save face I don't buy it. I'm sorry maybe I'm a piece of sh.it human being but I was disapointed how Brook and his team ended that fight ,I can't give props for how it ended
I agree with B-hops commentaryComment

No, Brook was done. It was inevitable what was going to happen within the next few minutes.
Great stoppage by the corner.
Get him down to 154 and he will be a great fighter there.Comment
