Did you gain any respect for Cuadras?

Nietes-Sosa shouldn't be too tough at this stage. Could be ready later in the year if Ioka can't happen.

When two guys give you that, it should be nothing but respect all around.

          That was a ridiculous scorecard.

The 116-112 was too wide as well.

I scored it a draw. I can see 115-113 for either fighter.

So crazy because I said in the first half of the fight "this guy (Cuadras) is trying to fight like Sergio Martinez with his hands down and all" . Nice hand speed but too ineffective with his flashiness at times. Great fight nonetheless.

Great action fight, and it was Gonzalez who looked way more damaged in the final rounds. An old fashioned 15 round championship fight wouldn't seen Chocolate bar melt and fold. Cuadras has nothing to be ashamed of, and a rematch would be excellent. Gonzalez looked vulnerable in his last fight, and even moreso this fight. He definitely has some serious talent, but there's so much talent now he won't be #1 much longer. Hope to see both fighters again soon.

Pretty sure he could camp out a division or two south of where he fought tonight. And anytime moving up came up, claim unification is his goal. And look like a monster.
This is the first decent guy he's fought in four years and he didn't look like any monster I'd be checking under the bed for.

BTW don't look now, but this was one of the bigger fight weekends of the year. Thousands of posts on the main boxing blogs, fans on FB and beyond having a blast. We need more like this.
