Brook looked like a real middleweight in there its unbelievable how manny ****-talkers are around here. I think he should stay at middleweight, he is the favorite against anyone besides GGG. But i cant stand the trainer of Brook, Brook gave GGG some problems but at the first tough moment the ****** trainer threw the towel. I think Brook could have continued a round longer.
Brook was mentally and physically very prepared for this fight. Golovkin seemed to be missing with all his really big haymakers. Those are the punches that would have KO'd Brook had they landed. I'm not sure Golovkin even landed a punch with full force because he was missing so many of his biggest punches (the left hook haymakers especially).
Even at the end of the fight it seemed GGG wasn't connecting flush and was still missing many shots but he was hurting Brook, even when he wasn't landing cleanly.
Remember Zab Judah didn't think Kostya Tszyu knocked him out.
Same thing with Vic Darchiniun in that fight where he was KO'd.
Adrenaline and concussions will do that to a fighter.
Thats nice of Brook to help lure in other opponents for GGG next fight.
Golovkin tried to lure them even more: stayed toe-to-toe, sometimes gave up his stiff jab, no lateral movement, no body movement, no head movement (at first, Malignaggi was scandalized -- at the end he noticed the huge variety of punches GGG displayed in the 5th)...
Reading comprehension is scarce around here, where did he say Golovkin can't punch?
He said he thought he would hit harder which is fair because he took quite a few clean punches, punches that, before the fight, we thought would have dropped him.
Other than Rosado Brook is the only recent opponent to go 5 rounds without going down.
