Delahoya won, congratulations to him, but in his prime, the fight would have stopped in the first. He got caught with many wild shots including that uppercut that stunned him. He looked a bit slower in that fight. I'm not taking anything away from Oscar, just comparing him to his old self.
Let's not Get TOO Excited about Oscar !

You didn't watch fight the fight very closely. Oscar has been out of the ring for almost 2 yrs and blocked/dodged most of Mayorga's punches. Mayorga throws from odd angles and with conviction, so of course he will land SOME of the time.
No one KOs Mayorga in the 1st round at any point in Mayo's career.Comment

Agreed and I think he will give PBF a run for his money too.I am very excited to see that fight happen now..........I was skeptical before wondering how DLH would perform but he was great.Originally posted by PBF34**** that. He had a great preformance after a 20 month layoff against a guy who many believed would knock him out. However, it was one of the most dominant preformances in recent memory.Comment

Nah, because he is fighting again, and thats what made me a fan in the first place.Originally posted by MoonGotta' admit, DLH looked very good against a guy who is a 2nd-tier fighter. To now say he's "back" as your favourite seems a big stretch. Is he your favourite again because he is winning?Comment

Hatton, i think, is too small for Oscar, and would get countered into "bolivian" if he and Oscar ever fought.Comment

Originally posted by Tyrantin mayorgas defense... he did stun delahoya... this would have been one hell of a fight if mayorga's chin wasnt so ****in weak "in this fight"...he hit delahoya with some nice punches ... mayorga is still a dangerous fighter...
Mayorga's chin wasnt all of a sudden weak in this fight, Oscar broke him off something.Comment
