GGG is a good fighter, but he looked very beatable last night. In 12 months, when the fight is likely to happen, Golovkin will be that much tighter at the weight. Canelo will be ready, prime, physically peak, and will WIN...emphatically.

I think most GGG fans are very delusional to his words after the fight, saying things like he was in first gear, and he was 'letting Brook hit him', at stages in the fight GGG looked like he might lose control of the fight, and believe me the fighter is the last one to know once he has lost control, because fighters are driven by huge ego's. Brook outboxed him and tied GGG up with ease for large partitions of that first three rounds, but ultimately he was always fighting a losing battle because as predicted he was just too small.

Canelo is sharper, stronger, bigger, and most importantly he is more defensively responsible than Brook. He is a better fighter than Kell and if you disagree with that as a GGG fan than you are kidding yourself. GGG's best punch against elite boxers is actually the jab, his jab won him the fight last night, it did all the damage, its his only chance against Canelo. But I don't think it will be enough, I honestly see Canelo as too sharp, fast, and good for GGG.

To be undisputed you have to hold all of the major belts ... yes Saunders WBO belt GGG doesn't own so he's not undisputed. He's the universally recognized top middleweight but he's not undisputed or lineal.

I've stated many times that I believe Canelo gave up the belt so that GGG didn't get an undeserved split due to purse bid. I don't think Canelo is scared at all... Oscar might be though and I don't understand why(maybe risk vs reward). Why would Canelo not fight GGG you mean? Well to answer that question, yet again, I believe that GGG and/or his team believe they are worth more than they deserve. Canelo is the A side and GGG and his team need to know their role and take what's given to them imo. If they really want a money fight and a legacy fight that bad they'll take whatever is offered. Floyd made concessions to fight Oscar. Hopkins made concessions to fight Oscar. Many legit great fighters have made concessions to get the fights they wanted.

Canelo won the middleweight belt at a catchweight, fought Khan at a catchweight, and then moved back to 154lbs. Had Canelo fought another middleweight or at 160lbs then I'd jump on the he's ducking doe bandwagon. But Canelo is going the businessman approach and so is the hypocrite GGG. I honestly don't understand why anyone would "duck" GGG. If there was a fair split and VADA or USADA testing I think most would fight GGG. Most people seem to say they aren't offering enough money to fight GGG if you haven't been paying attention. Hell the one interview GGG was saying 50/50 for Canelo and with 97k ppv buys where the hell does he pull that figure out of?

I think he'll wait him out a bit more. The decline is noticable tho...i was saying it after his last fight, and it's more evident now.

            Not so sure about that.

Canelo will have success, that's absolutely guranteed. He will unquestionably land hard punches.

Where I think he will struggle is when he gets backed up, and he will get backed up.

He'll also get tired and he doesn't know how to tie up.

And Canelo isn't the hardest puncher either.

Canelo will light him up in spots, but GGG will keep coming forward and push Canelo who doesn't have the best gas tank, it's a great style clash really.

Brook is probably thinking that he'd beat canelo tight now

If GGG fights the way he did against Brook I agree with you completely. He looked very slow and was not Impressive In any way shape or form.

That makes his forfeit all the more cowardly. It's really bad either way, but at least it's understandable if they know he gets beat down, as the odds would have it
