I don't know if he just allows guys to hit him because he doesn't respect their power, but if he allows Jacobs to touch him like that he's getting knocked out. I really want to see this fight because Jacobs has the speed and power that none of Golovkin's previous opponents had. His chin is a bit suspect though.

Jacobs would be very apprehensive about throwing and over committing because he knows he can be hurt and has been iced before.

Because of that, I think Golovkin would have too much time to pressure him and land shots and Jacobs would fold.

I actually think Brook showed the best approach. Just let your hands go when you can and hope you can land something and see what happens. If you give Golovkin too much time and respect, you're done. Brook has a lot of skill though so he was going to have some good moments while he was in there. I'm sure Jacobs could have his moments as long as it lasts.

GGG didn't really have much respect for Kell because he knew Brook was the smaller man and just made it a street fight. GGG uses his boxing more when he feels the opponent has a punch. For example against Stevens and Lemiuex he didn't really get into unnecessary exchanges with them.

I hope some of these MW's grow some balls after seeing GGG get hit by a WW.

i hope so too... GGG got hit way too much tonight and i believe he was slightly hurt , jacobs is the stronger fighter than brook and may be able to somewhat duplicate the gameplan , he may be more effiecient in stopping GGG's tracks
