If his eye was so ****ed, why didnt the reff call for the doctor, why didnt he ask brook if he wanted to continue?

brook was BACKING GOLOVKIN UP FFS.

Would he of got knocked out later? maybe, maybe not. to say you know what would of happened, is not acceptable to me.

Brook is fighting, he knows if he can continue, is it so bad TO ASK HIM IF HE WANTS TO CONTINUE??

    The Stoppage was BS.

To say it's a good stoppage is BS, not a fact and is your opinion.
CompuBox states that in round 5 Golovkin landed 30 punches and Brook 6. That isn't someone mustering a defence or keeping someone off him.

You're just being overly blood thirsty here, the dude said in the post fight interview he broke his orbital eye socket and was seeing three or five Golovkin's. The boxer is doing his job by fighting, and his camp are doing their job by making sure he doesn't receive a career ending injury. Do you really want to see Golovkin knock someone onto a stretcher so hard their eyeball pops?

You're ****ed up man, the stoppage was not BS. Watch round five again closely, especially the last 30 seconds.

Golovkin's power is the one of the most known quan****** in boxing and he'd already essentially succeeded in breaking Kell's face. I reckon Kell could possibly have muddled his way through another round or so but his offence was gone in that round.
Listen im not saying Kell would of won, but how many fights where a man has been dropped/ battered 50x worse than brook, with their eye totally swollen shut and their faces a battered and bloody mess....gone on to win?

      there are many many examples.

Hey when provo dropped algieri and turned his face into a bloody mess with one eye totally swolen shut.....just stop it there and then cos you know, he was gunna lose anyway...

All im saying is, Let BROOK DECIDE.

He had the chance to make history, to go out like that was terrible for him and for the fan's.

The fight was over, he was busted up and couldn't defend himself and Golovkin was about to hurt him badly, why shouldn't they protect their fighter?

It's not an opinion, it's a question, which you avoided along with every other point I made.

I came into this thread in good faith and see you're just another troll. Yeah dude, another 20 seconds of Brook having his face pounded really would have changed the fight.

He was riding the shot's, as far as i can remember the final sequence the only solid punch that landed cleanly was a jab. as for 'about to' again your opinion not fact.

For christ sake, how long have you watched boxing?

                Because brain damage....

Because Brook has a great chin so he'll be standing, but he'd have lost 10 years off his career.

For me I think the context of the fight means it was a strong stoppage. It always felt like a hiding to nothing though I must admit I was getting pretty excited in round 2.

He done his bit and then he sustained a serious injury. Decent shout by the corner. Fighters always want to go out on their shield and I am sure Kell would have done. For me he earned his money.

For us as boxing fans I hope we see the end of these fights were guys go up two weight classes to be a prohibitive underdog. Fair play to Khan and Brook but I don't want to see that shit again tbh.

Rewatch the 5 round, the fight was over. He was busting him up with short shots that he was sitting down on. The corner knew what was coming.

The only point you made was what you thought would of happened, it doesnt matter what you think would or would not of happened.

So yeah im a troll for asking why The reff didnt ask for A) the doctor and B) more importantly ask Brook if he want's to continue.

The only guy who is making troll like statements is you with ' pounded ' i just watched the final sequence and if you think that is the definition of pounded you are a moron sir.

Out of the final 10 punches, 2 landed.

                      'pounded'

                      k.
