I actually thought that too. It definitely wasn't a slip. I don't think Brook was hurt but it was the punches that set him off balance, thus it was a knockdown.
The gap in talent would have been a lot easier to spot if the two were actually around the same size, not a fight in which Golovkin can run all kinds of punches without fearing the repercussions.
Agreed. I have seen Triple G box but tonight he just knew he had nothing to fear so promptly spent the entire fight chasing Brook around the ring swinging for the fences, knowing it would only take one shot. He showed zero pretence of attempting to box from the very 1st seconds of round one.
The fight really told us nothing new about Golovkin, but I learned plenty about Brook tonight. I'd love to see him fight Canelo at 154.
