IMO Canelo vs GGG would play out similar although it'd be more competitive. Canelo has very good hand speed just like Brook but he'll get tired like Brook and then GGG would steam roll him. Canelo can't fight at a hight pace for 12 rnds.

As for Brook....Errol Spence is going to KO him in his next fight.

If Canelo landed the shots Brook did Golovkin would have been in trouble.

GGG was in first gear even in round 5. He only let his hands go a few times, he was making big drama show guys. He looked bored in there. Brook had no more gas after the 4th, too much muscle in his legs for a 147lb frame.

GGG can say whatever he wants, Brook made him look bad at times and would happily take a fight again.

Golovkin looked frustrated and reckless.

Give Brook credit for going in there on some do or die shh. Mofo fought a nasty puncher with a broken orbital bone in his face. Kudos to Dominic for stopping this fight he saved Brook's career.

K2 should fly to their fight destination earlier than they did for this fight, Golovkin was breathing hard through his mouth from the first round, sick or not he looked like shh tonight.

You really expected to be impressed with this particular performance, given the opponent? I'm just glad he got it over with, without suffering any injury or cut. The last thing MW needed was another non-MW winning a belt.

This was clearly the worse version of GGG we've seen. It feels like he turned off his brain and just threw punches. I think the other top MWs will start getting brave because GGG looked vulnerable.

Yeah, Brook made GGG look particularly slow. It may be the case that GGG really did feel like Kell wasn't a MW and he could just knock him out at any time, but it doesn't change the fact that he looked sloppy and reckless leading up to that point.

I never really liked Kell, but to me his stock has gone up a lot. He's obviously a legitimate talent and I think he can make a real statement at 154.

good stoppage. ggg was fvking him up that round and it was only a matter of time before he got laid out.

ggg is solid fighter but canelo speed will give him lots of trouble if that fight ever happens.
