Pretty much clear that the UK is now the home of boxing. UK will have more major fights and more fighters will have to man up and travel to the UK like GGG.

US boxing is slowly dying, mostly because of the demographic and terrible butthurt haters. Boxing could be amazing, just look across the pond.. here we enjoy and appreciate our fights and fighters.

Jubei dear: Britain IS the home of boxing -- Britain actually formalized the sport in the modern era...

The men and women who could support boxing in the US simply watch MMA now. Floyd with his point scoring ways killed it for main stream in america. That is what he will be most known for 50 years from now.

The US public love fighting but chose MMA because guys go for the kill. Something GGG does.

Some of you don't understand that Boxing is dying because the cherrypicking that one man installed to the point that no one wants to watch moot fights in which people already know the outcome.

No one has ever done so much damage like Mayweather to a sport.

great post. Yeah when a big british fight is on its the talk of all the sport channels and conversation of many. Its not a minority sport over here. The UK events always have a great atmosphere as unlike americans we cheer on our fighters and are enthusiastic about their chances.

... and we cheer on all fighters irrespective of colour and creed. Shocked at how racist you american fans are on here.

It'll be interesting to see how the Golovkin/Brook UK ppv numbers compare to the Canelo/Smith US ppv numbers.

Froch/Groves II was the largest ever UK ppv at 900k sold.

Hopefully this leads to a Saunders fight in December, then DeGale next year. Eubank could end up becoming a mandatory making for another big fight.

GGG is a international superstar. WOW. Real boxing fans respect him so much. A lot of posters here are going to be so butthurt that GGG is getting attention.
