  • Weight looking good on him, really looking forward to this fight

    • First 3 rounds, Brook's lateral movement and awkward style momentarily throw Golovkin out of his game. Crowd begins chanting in Brook's favor. Golovkin slowly adjusts, digging his way in to Kell's defense.

Round 4 ~ Golovkin checkmates Brook and buries his fist in the side of the smaller man. Kell falls to the floor clutching his cracked rib. The ref waves the fight off. It's over!

      • Looking forward to this one. I actually like both fighters but I'd like GGG to win. I can see GGG KO Brook in round 8.

        • Brook's going to be a sitting duck with all that extra weight

3rd or 4th round KO tops.

            • less enthused about this after seeing that sparring footage of Liam Smith and Brook. I know its only sparring.

But Smith was pinging him with some beauties. Golovkin sends him to the moon with the same opportunities. Conversely it did make me think moere positively about Beefy's chances against Canelo.

That was good. I really don't understand how people can dislike GGG...

It's really impossible. People really reach for reasons to hate on him. The man is everything you want in a fighter.

People moan and make stories about avoiding fighters, and money involved, networks, but all that nonsense aside, fighter for fighter, just talking pure boxing, not the politics involved, and you can't help but like him and get excited about his fights. A true fan of the sport can lay his allegiances aside and just appreciate the sweet science.

I don't get it either. I know he isn't fighting the best but that's not his fault. These guys don't want to fight.

He put's away the guy's he supposed to. in fashion. Doesn't hug, doesn't run

I really don't get it. He is well spoken, but in the ring he is a monster

It's mostly racism and hatred from a certain demographic who used to worship Floyd and now hate GGG because GGG is white. If GGG was african american he would be the All Time Great in their eyes.

Doug Fisher explains it in more detail here:

For everyone else GGG is basically a boxing fan's dream fighter. Everything we asked for and more.
