Who I would like Mayweather to fight...

As weird as it sounds, I would really like to see Mayweather fight Lara. Yes, Lara, the guy who probably wouldn't make Mayweather much money and the guy who wouldn't be as huge an achievement to beat as Golovkin.

The reason? Because Lara is such a completely different fighter from anything Mayweather has ever fought. When did Mayweather ever fight a guy with Lara's combination of speed, movement, height and reach? Most of Mayweather's opponents, such as Cotto, Canelo, Guerrero, etc., did not have anything near Lara's skill level, even if they are superior to him in regards to other attributes.

My point is, I would like Mayweather to fight Lara not because of Lara being the best possible opponent, but because of Lara being an opponent who would bring out a much more offensive Floyd, IMO. It would be interesting.

I'm a Mayweather fan but do you know how ****in boring that would be. They might as well start in round 12 and go backwards until the ring entrances.

Lara is good but he's levels below Floyd in terms of boxing. He's a tricky customer for flat footed fighters like Canelo, thats about it.

Is not about levels, Lara is bigger with longer reach boxer, that if you don't pressure him, he will pick you apart from distance.

Is a match up and weight class issue. Mayweather won't be able to counter from distance a guy who got longer reach and don't trow more the 2 punches at a time and move. So Mayweather will have to initiate and get in dirty, taking his counter punching advantage away.

It will not be a fair fight because they are not in the same weight class, but if it happen I'll have my money in Lara.

                Styles make fights.
