He can **** talk all day long but bottom line is Broner didn't want it
He was offered supposedly in the neighborhood of 4 million dollars -- more than any offer he'd get anywhere else outside of a Floyd fight. But hey that's speculative so let's cut that alleged offer number in half for argument's sake...if you were as confident as he is ("Manny's a bum", "check my record against southpaws", etc.), wouldn't you still fight him?
If Broner really was able to go into a Pacquiao fight and win, his whole career would have underwent a rebirth.
But yet you still turn down the opportunity?
The only conclusion is he simply didn't want it because Pacquiao would've white washed him on the cards. And AB is already a punchline these days...he can't take anymore L's, man.
I bet the rest of his career he stays with what he did early on in his career --- which is feast on smaller, overmatched C & D fighters.
I cant lie...if Arum wants to sell ppv's he should get Manny in with Broner..but Broner has to realize Manny is not bringing in that type of money anymore and those paydays just are not there.. Now if he gets lets say a 5 million guarantee with a ppv upside then Broner should take that. Broner himself has fallen off and his brand has suffered..you have to take risk if you want to be great in the sport of boxing.
