Comments Thread For: Golovkin: I'd Rather Get Saunders Next, Means More Than Canelo!

GENNADY GOLOVKIN is so confident of blowing Kell Brook away he is already eyeing up another Brit to bash. The Kazakh destroyer wants to take on WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders after he deals with Brook at the O2 tonight.

I agree, boxing needs an undisputed champion, but there is no need to underestimate Brook.

In some ways it's more meaningful, as unification

Canelo is a bigger fight, however, I don't think Canelo will go down as a great. He has fans, but he's always fought guys smaller than him.

Soon he'll be at MW only. If not GGG, he'll have to fight Charlo, Andrade, J-Rock, who all beat him.

          There you have it folks.

From the mouth of Bumlovin. He would rather keep fighting bums than fighting Canelita.

no buts or ifs, he's #1 King Bum for Bum

He's just saying this because he already tried to make Canelo FIRST, before Saunders, but Canelo ducked. Now that he knows Canelo doesn't want it, he's basically saying **** Canelo, he doesn't have the belt anyway, I'll just go with Saunders.

Personally I'd rather see Jacobs next than Saunders but I expect Jacobs to keep ducking too.

Lol, BJS just said he'd rather fight Golovkin/Brook winner ahead of Alvarez. But then again, Frank & Bill will setup a bidding war between Golovkin & Canelo.

K2 need to go all out and let Bill take the whole UK revenue. Once Golovkin holds all four belts, Canelo will have to knock on his door.

No. Hed rather fight a standing MW champion rather than a guy who dropped a belt and ran to a lower division. A Saunders fight establishes Golovkin as the undisputed MW champion, whereas a Canelo fight would only reaffirm what the whole world, including Saul Alvarez, already knows

Guys, GGG has said all along he wants to be undisputed MW champ. Why should he keep chasing Canelo when it's obvious Canelo doesn't want to fight him ???
