This guy is fuckin delusional. He's 29 and never held a world title. Best win is Quillin which was almost a year ago. Came off a 2nd rd KO of Mora then a first rd KO of Quillin then you sit out for almost a year and rematch Mora and you wonder why you aren't a big star? The work outside the ring is cool but you should be doing it because you want to, not to become a big star. How can he even fix his mouth to compare himself to Ward and Crawford. Crawford is lineal champ. Ward cleaned out a division. Moved up a weight class and going after the best fighter in the division. You aren't even a titlist. You hold a belt that's a junior belt of the real belt. Your belt is a participation trophy. Canelo is 26 and his resume is better than yours. Why are u even worried about what Canelo is doing anyway? It is pretty simple fight more against decent competition and it will work out better. He fought Quillin in December in a fight that lasted 90 seconds, cool. Fighting Sergio Mora, OK not the name I would pick but it can work as he is fairly known for 160 pound guys but to do it 9 months later is not capitalizing on momentum.

The Pirog loss/ almost dying from cancer set him back no doubt but he can certainly do more currently than he has been. Realistically he should have already fought Mora or fought someone like Andy Lee if Mora could not go until now. Any way you slice it this fight now against Mora or someone else should be his second fight of the year. Even if he fought someone totally scrubby in April or May that would at least kept him getting talked about.


He is actually doing alright all things considered, but if he wants to do better he certainly has to do more and that falls squarely on him.
