Damn Cotto vs Peterson, first time I read that
That's crazy, every fanbase is getting hit with some BS by their fighter. First Canelo fans with Khan. GGG fans poked fun, GGG ridiculed Canelo, then did it himself with Brook. Now Cotto is doing it. Dudes don't want to fight each other or fight the next best fighters in a higher division anymore. Now they're looking down for opponentsComment

Mayweathers' exit is a huge loss for the sport. I don't follow boxing as much anymore due to the fact that everyone is ducking everyone. Boxing was a sport that pitted the best vs the best. All that is gone now. The only fight worth watching is Ward vs Kovalev that's it. Boxing needs someone to fill the void Mayweather left. Even that kid in the olympics, Shakur is no good. Boxing is doneComment

So many people just read the title and comment
400-600k PPV buys for GGG-Brook not for Pac-Vargas
- Showtime making all the moves in boxing. HBO doesn't have the budget for boxing. Crawford v. Postol shouldn't have been on PPV.
- Pacquiao v. Vargas isn't a big fight. Manny needs to fight superfights
- Peterson v. Cotto is a joke. He didn't put Kell in with Peterson because he would've gotten stick (what does this mean?) Peterson is a career 140lber just moved up to 147 and now moving up to 154 to fight Cotto.
- Vargas is a good fighter but got no profile. Brook has no profile in America. That was the problem with making the Vargas-Brook fight
- Predicts around 400-600k PPV's
- Quigg Frampton did horrible numbers because it was a trade fight (hardcore fans???) This is not a trade fight
BONUS: RIPS FAT DAN FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT HAVING TABLES FOR PRESS ROW
deduct out the cost of actually putting on the show, the payout for the undercard, and other promotional expenses, and some of these guesses about the fighter's guarantees are wildly optimistic.Comment

If Pacquiao ended up doing 400k-600k, depending on how the event were priced, you're talking about $20m into the net pot. Add in the proceeds from the live event, deduct all expenses, pay the opponent, and pay Pacquiao, and Top Rank ends up on the short end of another PPVComment
