    Is Pacquiao a career Flyweight?

Or do fighters often move up as they get older?

No Pacquaio isn't a career flyweight.

Brook however is a career Welterweight.

And Golovkin is a career Middleweight.

Am I making a mistake in assuming (or hoping) that you understand what a "career weight" is?

Brook can't make welterweight anymore. He's no longer a welterweight.

None of that changes the fact that Brook is a career welterweight and Golovkin is the career Middleweight.

Your claim of Brook not being able to make Welterweight is also speculation.

You really hate boxers from Eastern Europe and Asia, don't you?

Kell Brook has opened up about mental and physical torment he used to endure to make the 147lb welterweight limit ahead of his step up to middleweight. And he admitted he would "probably" never fight at welterweight again, meaning he will no longer defend his IBF title.

Fighters not named Golovkin move up...Golovkin spends weeks in saunas and uses 5 Ivs and fish oils to rehydrate.

                Nope, I don't.

That link doesn't tell me that he can't make Welterweight.

                He's a career welterweight, fact.

Golovkin is a career Middleweight, fact.

                Not the same size.

Photos and measurements show they are about the same size. Brook has outgrown welterweight, just like Hearns and many others have in the past.

You never bitched about Mayweather when Marquez moved up to fight him.

Fact: JMM was a career lightweight fighting a career welterweight.

Fact: SRR was a career welterweight fighting a career middleweight in LaMotta. But unlike Brook, he moved back down after the fight.

how was JMM a career LW when he had moved up from FW? A career LW is a fighter whose whole career has been fought at 1 weight, like Brook (147) or GGG (160).

So Mayweather fought a featherweight at welterweight?

And people complain about GGG vs. Brook!
