Translation: American fans don't understand boxing. What he means is they are bandwagon fans. Once ggg loses his fans will jump on another fighters bandwagon. There's no loyalty.

I was wondering when you was going to show your ugly mug in this thread. You must have been taking a nap.

The same UK fans that voted this fight as nearly a 50/50?

              Sure

Uk 'fans' dont understand boxing, they just love big events. Stick a couple known names on the card, call it a grudge match and white blokes with english bulldog tattoos and bullet bald heads will turn up in their thousands.

Full credit to Hearn and Sky for knowing exactly how to capitalize though.

... and that is exactly what pro boxing is all about. It certainly flounders as a typical sport. The occasion, the location, the marketing, fan friendly fighters; when those things combine though boxing becomes an 'event'. The more big events the better

Would massively disagree that UK fans understand boxing, I'm from England and it's embarrassing how people fall for hype and "names", obviously these are casuals but I feel the majority of UK boxing viewers are casuals. Obviously Golovkin being diplomatic.
