Regardless of what you think of Briggs, Haye needs to honour his word.
Why is he di**ing him around.

Hayes last two fights were a joke so he obviously doesn't care about credibility.

Ridiculous. Shannon Briggs hasn't fought anyone above scrub level in 6 years. His last semi-notable win was what..the corpse of Ray Mercer in 2005?

Briggs could probably hang with some Top 15 guys, but you're off your bloody rocker if you think he could KO Parker. Parker would smack the grey out of his beard for as long as he felt like tormenting Briggs.

Haye doesn't want to mess around with Briggs because Briggs is completely and utterly irrelevant in todays boxing scene. The only reason people even remember who the hell Briggs is, is because he's like a bad smell that just refuses to go away. I credit him for marketing himself, potentially into a cash-grab farewell fight - but damn, he's not worth a thing in serious circles.

To be fair he is totally mental, he thinks anthony juichua is the best heavyweight of all times after he beat up a couple of failed NFL fatties

Shannon Briggs is boxings version of the two black clowns Al Sharpy Sharpton and Jesse the jack azz jackson just someone to laugh at and ignore. That;s all that collection of misfits is relegated to is ridicule scorn and laughter and guffaws. Briggs is worthless and crazy just like the other two misfits.

Briggs is awesome and harmless man. He will ****e up the heavyweight division at least for one night if any of these guys ever fight him. Win or lose we will all tune in with intrigue. Sharpton harms the world with his lies. Briggs does no such thing that I am aware of. I like his enthusiasm and funny antics.

Haye is a clown. Have literally no respect for him. Hes barely done anything at Heavyweight yet thinks all roads should lead to him and thinks he's soooo much better then Briggs yet Briggs would be one of the best wins on his resume

Hopefully Briggs can pull some kind of decent name to fight him. I mean damn, even Arreola would be good at this point. If he could beat him he might actually be able to pull in top 15 guy next.

People can say what they want about Briggs, but even the 2016 version would demolish De Mori and Gjergjaj. So yes, he would be a step up for Haye. I'd like to see Briggs fight Tarver, Kauffman or Arreola. Haye don't want it, too dangerous a fight. Let's go Champ!!!

Quit it guy. Briggs is a side show at this time now with his mouth.. If he could really beat the guys you say why has he only fought drunks from the local watering hole then? All those guys you mentioned I'd favor over Briggs.

I guess a man with a big mouth who talks big impresses you. Since his return have you seen any of his fights. Dude has no stamia is juiced up and has only fought real deal bums.

Where is the proof he hss no stamina ? Parker was breathing heavy by rbd 3 in his last fight ,and im pretty sure Briggs is stronger than the rugby player Parker fought who was not only able to push Parker back but land quite a few shots that Briggs would certainly find , im pretty sure im not the delusional one here . .Briggs would easily beat anyone that Parker fought .

To state Briggs is a side show only who at least would be a legit threat for 90% of the guys fighting now shows your lack of boxing intuition .
