A few weeks ago, former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs accused David Haye of dragging his feet on finalizing a deal that would see them fight in the fall. Haye (28-2, 26KOs) and Briggs (60-6-1, 53KOs) were both in action on May 21 at the O2 Arena in London, when they picked up easy knockout wins against overmatched opponents. Shannon Briggs is boxings version of the two black clowns Al Sharpy Sharpton and Jesse the jack azz jackson just someone to laugh at and ignore. That;s all that collection of misfits is relegated to is ridicule scorn and laughter and guffaws. Briggs is worthless and crazy just like the other two misfits.

People dont want to admit it but Briggs beats out some top 15 guys , he beats Hughie , Takam , Washington, Miller , Kassi, Mansour , and Stiverne in all likely hood . And honestly wouldn't be shocked in the least bit if he knocked out Parker judging by his last two fights . Briggs still has power , speed and is in great shape , a product of the 90's who currently i would favor over many top guys thats why Haye wont fight him ,he doesnt want to risk a Briggs loss bc anyone that loses to him will be sent packing bc hes 44 but beyond age hes a legit threat.

*** Briggs quit chasing Haye/Wlad or who ever and fight a real top guy. You talk big and expect the big fights to fall in your lap because of your mouth. Stop fighting garbage men and fight top guys then maybe people will take you serious.

Briggs could probably hang with some Top 15 guys, but you're off your bloody rocker if you think he could KO Parker. Parker would smack the grey out of his beard for as long as he felt like tormenting Briggs.

Haye doesn't want to mess around with Briggs because Briggs is completely and utterly irrelevant in todays boxing scene. The only reason people even remember who the hell Briggs is, is because he's like a bad smell that just refuses to go away. I credit him for marketing himself, potentially into a cash-grab farewell fight - but damn, he's not worth a thing in serious circles.

The skills are CLEARLY there regardless ,if Briggs connected to anyone i mentioned they are going out some later than others . Parker fights like an amateur ,the only thing that saved him vs Takam who is NOT better than Briggs is his speed .

Quit it guy. Briggs is a side show at this time now with his mouth.. If he could really beat the guys you say why has he only fought drunks from the local watering hole then? All those guys you mentioned I'd favor over Briggs.

I guess a man with a big mouth who talks big impresses you. Since his return have you seen any of his fights. Dude has no stamia is juiced up and has only fought real deal bums.
