    Great fight, the biggest fight in boxing at the moment. Props to both men for actually wanting to get in the ring and fight the best. Canelo take note lol. Still I will be rooting for Kovalev but expect the skills of Ward to take a close decision.

        I bet Kovalev kicks his rear end during the referee's instructions.

          I dont see any size difference, ward looks the same size. I pick ward 8-4 rounds. I think he has this one easy.

            This^^^^^^

            Fools swear he just walks in and holds. A lot of the time it's his opponent holding one qrm while Ward works with the other. His opponents don't know how to fight on the inside so all they'll do is hold while Ward tries to go to work.

            Not saying Ward has never held, but it is grossly exaggerated. I think i saw a video the other day of someone talking about Ward holding Kessler and they were even counting the times Kessler reached and held

              Ward won't be able to deal with Kovalev. This is no Froch who actually gave Ward a competitive fight.

                Precisely. They seize up. These guys are often even initiating the clinch, then they hold on tighter and tighter as he batters them, because that's what you're trained to do. When a clinch happens (which it often does, just because you're too close and there's nothing wrong w/ that) you're taught from the beginning to keep your head tucked against, lock up free arms, and wait for the ref to break. This isn't a Wlad, Hopkins, or Khan type thing where a guy is hitting and then holding to protect himself. This is a croc that's going to take you under water.

                Here's Barrera trying to smother, then initiate a clinch;

                    Like Kovalev said, he is no Barrera or Brand. Kov was done fighting those types of fighters years ago.

                      You love having white fighters in your mouth I see.
                      I guess if that's your thing then none of us should judge. I know I'm not judging.
