I don't know why Brook couldn't fight better competition than Jo Jo Dan, Frankie Gavin, and Kevin Bizier?
Hearn tried to get Thurman and Garcia but was turned down. Amir Khan also refused to fight Brook, and eventually ended up fighting Canelo instead. Kell was also talking about trying to fight the winner of Manny/Bradley 3, which obviously he would have had to travel for, but nothing came of it.
He's also had injury problems in the past and a year out after being attacked with a machette on holiday.

There was no one that Hagler would have fought besides Leonard!

I have no problems with them trying to say it's a business fight, lots of people will see it this way, but WBA is the LAST organization to be taking a moral stand. They're responsible for so many *** ups recently it's not even funny. Hell, they're the ones who took bribes in order not to give Golovkin a shot at Sturm. They're the ones who talked junk about mandating Golovkin-Jacobs after Canelo situation was resolved, only to sit on their ass for months until it was too late.
And a billion other atrocities. WBA sucks balls.

GGG agreed to Brook as a replacement, otherwise the show would have been off.

I see people keep people bring up the Duran/ Hagler and Leonard /Hagler fights and if you do a little research it actually hurts your argument......
Point 1- Duran Was WBA Light Middleweight Champ when he fought Hagler so he was a champ 1 weight class below... Just like Lara ironically.....
Point 2- the WBA nor the IBF Sanctioned the Leonard/ Hagler fight only the WBC.....
So how are you fanboys gonna justify the **** show now?
