It's so funny how Ward funboys say "Ndre jst got under his skin" "Ndre has his numbers already". Well, anybody who is familiar with Kovalev fights will tell you that people don't get under the skin of Krusher, they just piss him off. And pissed off Kovalev is more dangerous for his opponent than the calm one.

Ward will win this, he will grapple Kovalev and just win in an ugly ass fight on points, he looked fresher, he couldnt finish that dude but he looked much better than Kovalev, I wouldn't be shocked if Ward knocks Kovalev out either from a sneak punch, They are not that much different in size, Ward said he is having trouble even making 175 and would like to go to heavyweight or cruiserweight soon.
Agreed man but how come these boxers always wait for the punchers to hit 33-34 years old and get old before they fight them? Sick of all the ducking in this sport. I still think Kovalev will win but it isn't as easy a pick as it would have been three years ago.

3 years ago, Kovalev was a brand new titlist no one had heard of. He was also nowhere near the fighter he has become in the last year or so. 3 years ago there is no doubt Ward wins because Kovalev was still a crude fighter. This fight is happening at exactly the time that everyone involved wanted it to. Don't even start pushing some "Ward waited for Kovalev to get old" narrative. It's complete bull****.

... so, back in the fall of 2013, Kovalev was a guy "no one had heard of"? Funny, because I remember that in Feb 2014 Adonis immediately signed with Al Haymon and it was common knowledge that HBO -- which has made Stevenson-Kovalev one of its 2014 priorities -- and Haymon were on the outs at that point.

You already loss imo when you start talking about the guys "punching power" Same thing every puncher said about every "slick" boxer. While he's trying to walk Ward down with his 1-2 Ward will give hime a geometry lesson on angles and get a comfortable decision.

A more relaxed fighter is a better one....fact. too tight and you can't do nearly as well. Do you fight? Or even spar for that matter or just not know wtf you're talking about? Sounds like Ward is under your skin even more lol.

Kovalev won a title in August 2013, a month past three years ago. No one had any idea who he was. Talks for a Stevenson fight were barely beginning, if they had at all at that point.

So yeah, Kovalev was a brand new titlist no one heard of 3 years ago, and anyone who tries to suggest Ward waited for him to age is living in fantasy land. The idea that Kovalev was better then than he is now is also ridiculous.

So Ward ducked and waited for Kovalev to become p4p number 2 and pick up 3 belts before fighting him?

                      Ok genius lol
