exactly 10000% correct.
First off, he claims the WBA mandated the VADA testing. If thats true, then it doesnt need to be on the bout agreement.
And secondly, as you correctly pointed out, when you did not win the purse bid you can make no changes or *********s to the bout contract. PeriodComment

Thanks. I don't really follow UFC. Just know some of the bigger names, like Overeem. Didn't know he gave that excuse for a failed drug test. Never heard of it in baseball or football. But I agree, if a guy goes from skeleton to hulk overnight, tainted meat isn't the reason. Heh hehComment

ive never heard of it myself. Until it was mentioned and then researched. Sure enough. It was proven to be a fact. Doesnt change the fact or the situation. He was just as surprised as anyone. Everyone knows the risk of PED use. For someone to have only boxing to come from cuba to the states with that opportunity surely IMO isnt gonna risk it all just to have a slight advantage. o you think so?Comment

Interesting about the contaminated meat. As for risking it all, I will tell you this: People have been known to do the ******est, unnecessarily risky, asinine shit. You cannot put something past someone simply because it's ****** or risky. I'm not trying to say Ortiz did anything wrong -- I really don't know -- but you just never know with people.ive never heard of it myself. Until it was mentioned and then researched. Sure enough. People have been saying boxing is dead for a long time now, yet the sport has survived. I'm therefore not prepared to make any declarations just yet. But it just seems to me it takes too much stamina to be a fan anymore. Lol I want to be entertained, not wait around and have my patience tested. You can't even really get your fix with some decent free televised events anymore. I don't know. It's just not looking good.
I don't know about dead but ima just let the new guys behind me get excited about potential fights. I cant even fake it anymore I'm jaded as ****, because I know when one good matchup is thought of is probably years away thats the norm everything else is an anomally. Everyone is stalling or figuring out a way to duck or inactive .
Just getting old in every way man...Enough is enough I've had it with these mother***ing excuses on these mother***ing fights.

I went through a long stretch years ago where I wasn't watching any fights, except for the occasional big match-up. Then I discovered Boxingscene and started getting interested in the day-to-day of the game. But as we're discussing, I'm wearing thin again. I don't come here and post nearly as much as I used to. I check periodically, but there's just so little to talk about -- at least as far as I'm concerned. It seems to me that many of us fans are filling in time between fights with idle chatter. Like you said, it's getting old.I don't know about dead but ima just let the new guys behind me get excited about potential fights. I cant even fake it anymore I'm jaded as ****, because I know when one good matchup is thought of is probably years away thats the norm everything else is an anomally.
