Comments Thread For: Travis Kauffman: Everyone Avoiding Luis Ortiz, I'd Fight Him Next!

READING, PA --Travis Kauffman believes he is very close to realizing his goal to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world. In order for that to be realized, he must not stumble this Friday night when he takes on Josh Gormley as part of the undercard of a championship doubleheader at the Santander Arena in Kaufman's hometown of Reading, Penn

This guy needs another big fight against a name opponent if he wants to get in the picture. A good opponent would be someone like Eric Molina but I think King is still trying to get Molina another title fight.

Agree with this, Ortiz would splatter him. Kauffman needs to go after someone like Witherspoon or Eddie Chambers, maybe even a Guillermo Jones. Someone with a name and a solid record that he would have a chance of beating at least.

Trevor Bryan, Molina, Rossy & the guys you listed. There are some 2nd tier HW fights out there that could be great matchups. Chisora, Whyte, Price, Gerald Washington, Oscar Rivas, etc, etc...

Nice to see a heavyweight that isn't scared of King Kong.

I don't hate that fight. I think Ortiz is overrated & Kaufman is probably underrated by most. He's the craftyist fat guy around today arguably so I think he'd be a lil tricky for Ortiz & give him a lil competition worst case.
