The worst boxing calendar in 7 years.

I can't recall such a bad schedule since right after Cotto vs Clottey. I hope you people who wanted PBC to fail are happy.

Some good matchups coming up, for example Glowacki-Usyk and Kovalev-Ward.

    There's also Klitschko-Fury and other interesting HW matchups (Joshua-Pulev, Ruiz-Fury, Price-Parker, etc).

PBC needs to put some good matchups on for November and early December, such as Derevyanchenko and Khytrov vs. decent contenders, and Beterbiev vs someone good like Alvarez. Jacobs needs to man up and fight GGG in early December.

I'd like to see some interesting light heavyweight matchups added to the Kovalev-Ward PPV.

But they told us when Floyd retired everything would be better. He was what's wrong with the sport. The skys were supposed to open and heaven shine down upon us when Floyd retired.

How about HBO put on one good matchup. They've had two competitive fights on their network (not PPV) this whole year. How about we hold them to a certain standard also.

Yeah Glowacki vs Usyk and Kovalev vs Ward are great but Ward fight is 2 months and 3 weeks away. Not much interested in Fury rematch.

I honestly didn't think it would be this bad after Floyd.

I agree. HBO is putting on mostly mismatches this year.

PBC has Easter vs. Commey this weekend. That fight is flying under the radar for some reason. That fight has to potential to be FOTY.

Fights we'll know the status of this weekend for the Oct 15th card:
              Garcia vs Zlaticanin
              Danny Garcia vs. Felix Diaz
              Mares vs. Cuellar

Charlo vs J Rock has to be made this year

I have been strongly anti-Haymon since about 2014, and basically every fear I'd had concerning his takeover has been proven justified. He has all but destroyed the sport, and I can safely say that my enthusiasm for boxing has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. The PBC is utter trash aside from a few fights a year, and HBO has slipped as well due to no strong competition. But who cares, really. If we're not going to get good matchups, the sport deserves to die.

The Berto fight isn't happening and I saw on Twitter some rumblings about Diaz v. Garcia instead. I'll see if I can find it.
